The Lazy E Arena has released an additional 11 names set to compete in 2027, joining the roster of past champions and standout timed-event athletes:

Will Lummus made his CTEC debut in 2026, earning a time of 571.9, followed by the 2022 Ironman title holder Erich Rogers with a time of 573.5. Filling the 13th spot is the 2014, 2016, and 2024 CINCH Timed Event Championship winner Paul David Tierney with a 608.3 time in 2026.
Returning for his third CTEC is Blane Cox, joined by the 2005 and 2011 Ironman Kyle Lockett. Back at Lazy E Arena for their second CINCH Timed Event Championship are Quade Hiatt and Dalton Walker from the lone star state of Texas. The 2023 Ironman Cody Doescher competes at the Lazy E Arena for his 14th year, followed by Riley Wakefield adding his fourth appearance at the CTEC.
The remaining four athletes will be announced by the Lazy E Arena in the coming weeks. The current roster for the 2027 CINCH Timed Event Championship is as follows:

The event spans three days and five rounds, challenging 25 athletes in Team Roping Heading, Team Roping Heeling, Tie-Down Roping, Steer Wrestling and Steer Roping. Contestants vie for a share of more than $200,000 in prize money, with the winner claiming the prestigious Ironman title and a $100,000 paycheck.
